Yes. The terminal needs an unobstructed view of the sky to maintain a reliable connection. Buildings, walls and trees in the line of sight can interrupt the signal.

For a location with a clear view of the sky, the basic setup is designed to be straightforward: position the terminal, connect power and the router, then follow the guided setup. Permanent or roof installations may need a mount and additional cable.
Not for a temporary ground-level setup. A mount is worth adding when you want a permanent, elevated or vehicle-based installation.
Longer cables are available as accessories. Check that the cable matches your hardware generation before ordering.
