We are forty minutes past the last fibre cabinet, and I had stopped expecting anything better than a 4G hotspot. Two of us are on video calls all day now and neither has had to apologise for a frozen screen since March.
Setup took about twenty minutes, most of it spent walking the roof looking for clear sky. The app told me exactly when the view was good enough. No installer, no appointment window.
